We should be thinking seriously about planting wheat anytime now, but you can see our field doesn’t look too good. It hasn’t rained in a long time, so the soil is too dry to plant and the surface is still very rough.

If we look closer at the soil surface you can see just how rough and dry the soil really is. If we get a rain we will have to use a field cultivator at least one more time before we can plant. We’ll just have to wait for rain.
