Introduction:

Microsoft FrontPage is an WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Web editor. It supports most Web technologies, and allows you to build a web site in a familiar environment. The toolbars and menus are very similar to those of other Microsoft Office applications, like Word and Excel.

FrontPage is the preferred editor for writing Oznet sites. It is an intermediate-level editor, suitable for beginners or more advanced web authors. It can be purchased from Software Spectrum.

Be sure to read through the ADA Compliance Tutorial for FrontPage by Jennifer Foltz.

Currently, we are in the process of migrating from FrontPage2000 to FrontPage2002, so most of the tutorials are written for FrontPage2000. However, the changes between 2000 and 2002 do not affect most of the basic operations, a few dialog boxes may be different.

If you are still using a version of FrontPage earlier than 2000, it is definitely time for an upgrade, due to much easier management of your webs, and new features present in the new versions.
