The Horticulture Research Center is located at 95th and Hydraulic (1901 East 95th Street S) in Sedgwick County, Kansas. It is six miles south of Wichita and 1 mile east of highway U.S. 81. It is easily accessible from Interstate 35 (Kansas Turnpike) south Wichita
exit, the Haysville exit or the Mulvane exit. Located between the main campuses of Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS (zone 5) and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK (Zone 7), the KSU Horticulture Research Center serves the horticulture industry in USDA hardiness zone 6a and 6b of south central Kansas.

Longitude 97°, 18 min. and 56.2 sec. West
Elevation: 1242 feet
| From the south Wichita exit of I35 turn right on to 47th
Street headed east. Turn right onto Hydraulic at the first stop light and
proceed to 95th Street South. Turn left and the gate is approximately 1/4 mile
on the right hand side of the street.
From I35 Haysville exit (71st Street South) turn right 3/4 mile and then south
on Hydraulic to 95th Street South. Turn left 1/4 mile and the gate is about
1/4 mile on the right hand side of the street..
From I35 Mulvane exit turn right on KS Hwy 53 and proceed to Hydraulic
(approximately 1/4 mile) turning left onto Hydraulic headed north to 95th
Street South. Turn right and the gate is approximately 1/4 mile on the right
hand side of the street.
