Scholastic Deficiencies . For a description of policies related to scholastic deficiencies (academic warning, academic dismissal, reinstatement) refer to the Grades section in the KSU Undergraduate catalog. The College of Human Ecology policy requires grades of C or higher in all courses labeled as "foundation, professional and supporting." This means that if you make a "D" in a required HN or KIN course (or FSHS 350 or GNHE 310) you have to retake the course for a better grade. Additionally, if you are interested in becoming a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) many or most dietetic internships are competitive, using grades as one criterion for admission. Some internships do not allow "D"s in any course or specific courses such as the physical and biological courses. |
