| This is an example of freeze damage that is a little more severe than the simple damage in the last picture. More than the leaf tips are damaged. This wheat was growing rapidly and had lush vegetative growth when the freeze occurred. Sometimes the stems will be damaged and the wheat will lodge or fall over. There could be a small grain yield loss with this damage. | |
