Digital Orthophotos (Aerial Photography)
A digital orthophoto quadrangle is a computer-generated image of an aerial
photograph in which distortions caused by camera orientation and terrain have
been removed. These products combine the image characteristics of a photograph
with the qualities of a map and can be used in geographic information system
(GIS) applications. Digital orthophoto quadrangles (DOQs) are available for
nearly all areas of Kansas.
