Released: March 24, 2006 A.I. Refresher Course Offered COLBY, Kan. – Kansas State University Research and Extension and Colby Community College are co-sponsoring the AI Refresher Course on April 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Colby Community College Farm. The course, to update cattle producers on the latest in bovine artificial insemination, will be divided into a morning and an afternoon session. The morning session will include topics such as cow management and nutrition, synchronization and keys for a successful AI program. The afternoon session will focus on semen handling and palpation. A $50 registration fee is requested by March 31, 2006. A limited number of registrations will be accepted. Registration includes a noon meal, supplies and the palpation lab.
