Released: March 01, 2005 Environmental Leadership Program Names Class Members for 2005 MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas Environmental Leadership Program (KELP) has named the members of its class of 2005. The members, in alphabetical order by last name, are: Patrick Beard of Leavenworth, Kan.; Mike Beezhold, Lenexa; Sherry Brace, Wichita; Bob (R.J.) Burkhart, Shawnee; Roger Daniels, Parsons; Joel Davidson, Lawrence; Ed Dillingham, Alma; Diane Dysart, Netawaka; Sheryl Ervin, Topeka; Bronson Farmer, Salina; Herbert Graves, Chapman; Steve Johnson, McPherson; Susan Lee, Manhattan; Carrie Wolff Miller, Anthony; Richard Moppin, Leavenworth; Keena M. Privat, Osage City; Jo Sanders, Wichita; Doug Schneweis, Hays; Gerry Snyder, Manhattan; and Daniel Zerr, Topeka. These class members will participate in five training sessions held over a 10-month period in communities throughout the state. The sessions are designed to help members hone their leadership skills and learn about the environment and water resources in Kansas, said Judy Willingham, KELP coordinator. KELP is a cooperative project of Kansas State University Research and Extension and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Its administered through K-States Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering.
