Strategic Alliances in Agriculture Workshop Offered by K-State

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas Ag Innovation Center will offer a workshop on how to develop and maintain alliances that can help businesses succeed. This one-day event will take place April 5, from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., at the Ramada Inn in Manhattan, Kan.

“This program has been designed to enhance business owners’ ability to develop and nurture strategic alliances that support their business objectives,” said Vincent Amanor-Boadu, agribusiness professor at Kansas State University and director of center.

The workshop, entitled ‘Strategic Alliances: The Smart Way to Start and Grow Business Profitability,’ focuses on identifying when strategic alliances offer advantages and how to identify and select partners for such alliances.

Amanor-Boadu will be the guide for the workshop. He has conducted research and taught strategic alliance and supply chain management for more than a decade.

Registration for the program is $25.00, due by April 1. The fee covers the cost of food and materials.
