Released: March 29, 2001 April Yard 'n Garden Every spring brings its own challenges, but some spring chores are always the same. Tiny, nodding heads of crocus blooms may be the first sure sign. But you know when Kansans truly begin to believe spring has arrived. Debris bags and branch stacks show up curbside. The disconsant chorus of lawn mowers begins. And then potted plants, shurbs and trees start their final trek from nursery to car to homeowner's yard. We hope this package of stories are informational and interesting. They reflect new Kansas State University research that should make yard chores easier and/or more effective.
