Soil Testing: We offer soil testing for crop and horticulture purposes through the K-State Soil Testing Lab and have a soil probe which people can borrow to take soil tests.  Soil samples are brought in the Marshall County Extension Office, bagged, and then delivered/sent to the Lab.  Cost is $6.20 for the Routine Test(pH, Lime, P, and K), $10.50 for test #2(Routine+Nitrogen+Organic Matter), and other tests are available.

Marshall County Wheat Plot Tour
Richard Holthaus Farm-about 1 mile north of Axtell
June 11, 2008

Marshall County will once again have a wheat plot for wheat producers to see during the Marshall County Wheat Plot Tour which will be held on Wednesday, June 11.  The County Wheat Plot Tour will begin at 6:00 P.M. at the Richard Holthaus Farm, located a little over 1 mile north of Axtell on 30th Road.
