Carbon Credit Pilot Project 2005 Informational Meetings in Kansas Come and find out about the new Carbon Credit Pilot Project! Producers and landowners in Kansas, you now have the opportunity to sign up for this exciting new program to lease carbon credits from your land -- but only for a limited time. Sign-up for this pilot project is expected to last only until the first of April, 2005. These meetings are a joint effort of the Kansas Coalition for Carbon Management (KCCM) and the Iowa Farm Bureau. The Carbon Credit Pilot Project is offered by the Chicago Climate Exchange. Speakers at the meetings include representatives of Kansas State University and Kansas RC&D’s. There is no charge and no reservation is needed to attend the meetings.
