BRIEF DESCRIPTION (include major objectives)

Safe Food for Children is a series of five lessons on food safety for family child care providers and parents of preschool children.  Topics covered include:  hand washing, safe food shopping, safe food preparation and service, safe food storage, and kitchen cleanliness.  Each lesson includes a leader’s guide, a brochure for parents and an animated video starring “Mike the Microbe”.  A Spanish-language version is available.
