Description: This course is attended for students with limited knowledge of irrigation design and contracting with the goal of stimulating further interest in these areas.

Major topics: Design techniques and drawing presentation: plans and specifications; basic hydraulics; estimating and bidding; and the principles of good business practices.

Prerequisites: HORT 550 or two years of irrigation experience, approved by instructor
