HORT 545: Computer Applications in Horticultural Design

When Held: Fall semester

Description: Introduction to a variety of computer software packages (non-Autocad based) which students may encounter in the nursery/garden center environment. These range from plant- and elevation-view horticultural design packages to planning, routing, and estimating packages.  The course will also reinforce computer skills with spreadsheet and database applications and presentation software.  One hour recitation and two two-hour labs per week.

Prerequisites: HORT 275 (Hort Design 1), HORT 510 (Horticultural Design II), or instructor permission.
