HORT 510: Horticultural Design II

When Held: Spring semester

Description: Reinforcement of the horticultural design process as applied to the use of native and introduced plant materials.  Emphasis on functional and aesthetic arrangement of plants in small-scale design to meet site design objectives and adaptation to microclimates.  Students expected to develop site adapted plant palettes and graphic ability to present their design.  Two three-hour studio periods per week..

Prerequisites: HORT 201, HORT 275.
