For Range Professionals

For many who work daily with producers, it is a challenge to provide the needed information to clients who must make choices concerning their rangelands. We at KGWQSP can help by assisting you with meetings, workshops, and demonstration sites as well as providing you with publications, photos, and research results. We interpret grassland water quality to cover all topics associated with maintaining good vegetative cover across the landscape. In particular, our goal is to minimize polluted runoff and direct deposition of livestock manure into bodies of water in the state.

Possible meeting or workshop topics include:
Forage planning
burning workshops
watering systems
grazing distribution
grazing systems
range weed control
range and business planning for range professionals
