Drought Information

April has been a mixed bag of temperature and moisture.  Cooler than normal conditions have persisted for much of the state.  Drier than normal conditions have continued to plague the Western third of the state.

Windy and warm conditions prevailed this week.  There were a few isolated storms, which included hail, high winds and tornadoes.  However,  most of the state saw less than an inch of moisture for the week.

Below are the latest drought conditions for the US and Kansas, as well as the drought outlook, the 3 month temperature outlook and the 3 month precipitation outlook:
