establishing local safety
objectives,
-
coordinating the achievement of
those objectives.
-
making our concern for safety
visible to every employee and student in our organization,
-
making safety an integral part of
our everyday work, and

in order to eliminate hazards and to prepare for inspections by
state and federal agencies.
-
40% more
employees participated in annual respirator fit tests than in
previous years
-
27% more
employees participated in annual occupational medical surveillance
than in previous years
-
24 fume hoods were repaired in labs
-
Many office
employees benefited from improvements in ergonomics and indoor air
quality.
