2004 Accomplished Provided/promoted the following safety training for employees: back injury prevention, office ergonomics, defensive driving, and hazardous waste.

2002 Accomplished Training on the following topics has been provided to affected employees: office ergonomics training (News Unit) and fire safety training.
2002 Accomplished Employees have been informed about the committee and asked to provide input about the safety program. The committee has discussed possible objectives, including: getting additional input from employees by using an anonymous survey, developing a system to encourage the reporting of incidents, ergonomics training for the remaining units, and addressing slips/trips/falls, lifting, and overexertion injuries.
